Chapter VI of the Euratom Treaty (Articles 52 to 76) contains provisions intended to allow Member States equal access to ores, source materials and special fissile materials as well as the pursuit of a common supply policy. This policy is implemented by the Euratom Supply Agency (ESA). This agency relies on an Advisory Committee which includes, for the French part, four representatives (CTE, MTE/DGEC, ORANO and EDF).
